Bolton Event Salutes Residents 90 and Older with Annual Basket Giveaway

The Mississippi Outreach Foundation, Inc. is extending an open invitation to its 32nd Annual 90-Above Senior Citizens Basket Giveaway, a longstanding tradition dedicated to honoring some of the community’s most treasured residents. The event will be held Saturday, December 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olive M.B. Church Family Life Center, located at 6449 W. Northside Drive in Bolton.

For more than three decades, the foundation has gathered families, supporters and senior citizens to celebrate longevity, resilience and community spirit. The 90-Above initiative focuses specifically on individuals aged 90 and older, offering them carefully prepared baskets as a gesture of appreciation.

Organizers describe the event as a time of fellowship and gratitude, designed to uplift elders who have shaped the community through decades of wisdom and perseverance.

This annual gathering continues to grow in significance, serving as both a celebration and a reminder of the importance of honoring seniors in tangible and meaningful ways.
