Central Hinds Academy senior Keith Purvis has been named STAR Student for the 2022-23 school year by the Mississippi Economic Council M.B. Swayze Foundation. The foundation selects STAR Students based on academic excellence, based on ACT scores and scholastic averages.
Each STAR student selects a teacher that has significantly contributed to the his educational achievement to be a STAR Teacher. Keith has chosen English teacher Tyanne McCoy to receive this honor.
