Community resource event for older adults set Aug. 25 at Brownsville Volunteer Fire Department

Older adults, caregivers and family members are invited to attend a free community resource event on Tuesday, Aug. 25, designed to provide information about programs and services that support healthy aging and overall well-being.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Brownsville Volunteer Fire Department Station No. 1, located at 8057 Bolton Brownsville Road.
The informational session will connect attendees with organizations and resources available to help older adults maintain their independence, improve their quality of life and access services within the community. Representatives will be available to share information on programs that support healthy aging, caregiving, wellness and other community services.
The event is intended for older adults, family caregivers and anyone interested in learning more about the local resources available to support aging adults.
Organizers encourage community members to attend, ask questions and take advantage of the opportunity to learn about services that can help individuals and families navigate the challenges and opportunities associated with aging.
The event is free and open to the public.
