Free summer STEM camp available
Parents of area students are encouraged to take advantage of a free two-week science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) camp being offered this summer.
The camp will be held July 18-29 at the Mississippi E-Center on Raymond Road in Jackson. It will start at 9 a.m. and end at 1 p.m., and lunch is provided. Grade levels first through twelfth are eligible. Transportation to and from camp is not provided.
Space is limited, and enrollment in the camp will be on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information or to register, parents should email their name, their child’s name, a contact phone number and the name of the school the child attends to PreferredChoice44@yahoo.com.
